During the course of Indian elections, you could see the likes of Rahul Gandhi visiting campuses becoming the new youth icon ( as well as gay icon :) ), LK Advani going to gym and taking dumbells saying he is still a youth and so and so....
But Congress was the one party that gave immense hype to youthness and giving many tickets to youth congress leaders(ironically these youth leaders were all sons/daughters of loyal oldie leaders (loyal to Gandhi Family) ). And congress is saying that they won the elections because of youth factor. But see the new cabinet.
Average age will be 50 years or more. Is this the way to say thanks to the youth.
But IMHO, i like the present cabinet(except those regional frauds...). Now the elections are over and to rule a nation of over a billion people, experience counts. Pro'lly thats the reason Rahuls comrades are not keen to join the cabinet but to strengthen the party.
Is it the starting of a new era where power mongering in "OLD" Congree party is ending ?
Or Is it that Rahul knows that one need not be a minister to exercise the POWER and have his puppets to do whatever HE needs !!!
